Lucille 'Lucky' Barrows, a young woman from the fledgling United States of America. Traveling out West, she quickly became known for being a dirty cheat at gambling, killing twenty-two men in barroom shootouts, and of course grand horse theft. Always being pursued by sheriffs, rangers, and other vigilante lawmen, she figured to make a gang of the toughest and grizzled folk the land had ever seen. It consisted of Adam Fletcher, master of archery and tracking. 'Powder Burnside', a portly Englishman with a penchant for explosives and catching things on fire. Zhang Tao, a Chinese migrant worker who nearly died piecing together the railroads and fled a certain hanging after firing upon a saloon owner. Jonathan Clemmens, an escaped slave with a fond love for poetry and hymns, often manages the finances for the gang. Sean O'Flynn, an Irishman who has connections all over the United States and can find a safehouse in no time. The last is Doli, a Navajo maiden that serves to gather information for heists and other crimes. Altogether, they call themselves The Lucky Seven.

Lucille herself is dressed in a very dusty pair of trousers, an unadorned flannel blouse, and calfskin boots. She has caramel blond hair that had been tied off with a hank of rawhide, leaf-green eyes, and fair skin. Her hands are covered with multiple scars that denote some sort of heavy work in the past. At her side is a leather traveling pouch, a sheathed Bowie knife, and a coil of rope.
